Remove dotted lines on links and buttons in Firefox 5 and IE 8

Created by: javajack

Upon clicking links in bootstrap pages a dotted line appears around links ( which seems to be a browser feature actually )

It looks ugly and many people on the web seem to be complaining about it. A stackoverflow question/answer has a solution which gets it disabled.

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/71074/how-to-remove-firefoxs-dotted-outline-on-buttons-as-well-as-links

Answer is only for firefox but I hope knowledgeable people out there would find an appropriate solution for all the browsers.
