linebreaking issues

Linebreaking issues were reported on the User Group at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mathjax-users/ZGLqkRhZnko.

I can reproduce those issues on Chrome 33 and IE 11 on a Windows 8 box. Chrome 33 on linux seems unaffected (as does Chrome on OSX).
