mathtools \overbracket doesn't respect \color in SVG output

The math tools package's \overbracket doesn't properly handle the color set by \color in SVG output (but is OK in CHTML output). E.g., \color{red}{\overbracket{a}^{b}} colors the a and b, but not the bracket itself.

This is due to having fill="currentColor" being set on the polygons that make up the bracket. These should be left off so that the bracket will inherit the fill color from its parent elements.
