Primary / Accent color is not accessible

Describe the bug

Same issue as #7946 (closed) https://github.com/facebook/create-react-app/issues/7946

The primary / accent color is not accessible, and is very difficult to read in light mode.

Can raise a PR if someone can help me decide which colors we can use and how do we decide that ?
