What will happen in your session?

We will create a collaborative exhibition from already existing Jandig’s artwork collection. The display starts with a blank wall and thought the first day of the festival the participants can fill it with stickers that are also AR markers. We will record this process in a series of photos to make a time-lapse video that we will release on the second day of the event.

When a participant or group arrives, we will present the project to them and ask about their skills/interests. During this conversation, they will see the available artwork and choose some stickers to place on the wall.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

The outcomes are:

  • A collaborative AR exhibition.
  • A time-lapse animation of the building process.
  • Participants can create their exhibits with stickers they’ll take with them.
  • Artists will learn how to produce content for augmented reality.
  • Artists can connect to the Jandig Project, creating content for future exhibitions. \o/

The activity needs a wall or structure so participants can glue the stickers. If there’s no place we can glue them, it’s possible to adapt the exhibition to use cardboard boxes, like in http://memelab.com.br/jandig/exposicoes/virada-cultural/
