Metasploit Plugin Error

When I try to use the metasploit plugin to load a .afr.msf into metasploit I get an error. I have tried several different reports including ones initially saved as .afr.msf and ones that I resaved from .afr to .afr.msf. If I try to open a blank metareport (Just containing "--- []" as would be in a metareport from a scan that found nothing) metasploit has no trouble loading and simply lists that there are no vulnerabilities to be exploited.
