Reply to Kremlin says it is not Russia's place to advise China's Xi on whether to go to Ukraine by Quantum_II
March 29 (Reuters) - The Kremlin said on Wednesday it was not up to Russia to advise Chinese President Xi Jinping on whether he should visit Ukraine or not.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has extended an invitation to the Chinese leader to visit, the Associated Press reported earlier on Wednesday.
"We know China's balanced position, we value it highly and we believe the leader of China makes his own decisions on the expediency of certain contacts. We have no right to offer any advice here," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
China's Xi visited Putin in Moscow last week and the pair issued a joint statement referring to a 12-point Chinese proposal for dialogue and an eventual ceasefire in the Ukraine war.
The Chinese plan met with a dismissive response in Washington, given Beijing's refusal to condemn Russia's invasion. The United States says a ceasefire now would enable Russia to hold on to Ukrainian territory it has seized and give its forces time to regroup.
Ukraine has welcomed China's diplomatic involvement but Zelenskiy has said he will only consider peace settlements after Russian troops leave Ukrainian territory.

I never said you wanted to kill someone directly, just that actions have consequences. And your metaphor only works if there’s a f**king warzone next to your fence. In which case I would let anybody come in yes…

>I wouldn't expect any officialist party to oppose NATO whims
Are you sure you're parsing the situation right here?
Dead-in-the-head NATO (Macron) won't see any opposition from "officialist" (whatever that is) parties? Yeah, right - Schröder and Scholz, also known as the "Bloodhounds of the West".
While the US needs to be cajoled to send a couple of tanks? And there is 0 NATO involvement whatsoever (granted there is involvement from countries that ARE IN NATO - but that's kinda hard to avoid here, point in case).
With that cooperation in Iraq and Afg (esp the departure) it should be clear to everyone that everyone is just a US pawn here... /s
Your reading of the situation is about as accurate as Putin's here I think.
If you think the green party position "rhetoric" is "funny", maybe should try reading some first hand information on their thoughts and principles then?

Funding for the reform requires the same amount of money that a tax on the rich removed by the current gouvernment previously generated.

For what?
To protect the corrupt government wanting the money only for themselves?
This is what dictatorships do!

The rioters (1200), probably not. The protesters (1 200 000 to 3 300 000) supported by 94% of the current workforce according to polls running since late 2022, probably yes.

Truly restricting access to materials that could be used to make explosives is incredibly difficult because that’s a category that includes goddamn near everything. I started to give examples and then realized maybe I shouldn’t include a shopping list, but you can build a bomb out of like, three farts and a nine volt battery if you know what you’re doing.

The last time have you been to italy was in the 70s? I think it's impossible not to see any non typical restaurant since that age. Maybe, if you paradrop to Monteculo di Sotto and get extcracted by helicopter, and even then you should be blindfolded for the whole voyage...
