Because scaling back production would hurt profits, and profits are more important than anything else to business owners.

Didn't his first campaign run on a two state solution and then immediately say no way once elected?

And if it's a trade thing, you're getting back less product which is bad in every case when it's not something that people consume specifically.

How can Germany be taking in millions of refugees every year and still think the problem is population? The issue is clearly incompetence in training millions of, typically, young men in the areas the economy needs.
Start creating free training schemes, pay people for each module they pass, and pay employers to recruit from these schemes.
Or just raid India…

to be a bit more precise, bibi has 64 seats in the 120 seat knesset. So 4 defections would produce a tie. Some legislation requires an absolute majority, i.e 61+ votes, IIRC, in order to dissolve the knesset, or setup a new government, they need 61 votes - Although I may be wrong on this point.

Netanyahu has no choice but to end the overhaul because of the massive strike that includes businesses closing to support the strike. A strike by workers and businesses together is unheard of. Normally businesses are on the opposite end of the strike. This is checkmate for Netanyahu. Once he stops the overhaul, his coalition will fall because the extremists will leave the coalition. He's done.

It’s the same argument you see people make for anarcho-capitalism. Same issues, only that socialists are afraid of admitting that anarchy in general simply doesn’t work (on a scale that would represent modern countries).
First off, how do you prevent people from returning to a capitalist society, forming their own states or even ensure the core idea of equal distribution? What do you do when some start working more, produce desirable items and thus accumulate more wealth than others? As soon as you start using force to prevent these things, you’ve created a state and are back to square one.
Anarchy is only feasible amongst likeminded people, but the broader society is anything but likeminded. So the solution to this issue usually is “educating” the people (which doesn’t work, as Atatürk’s failed attempt of educating his country in liberal democracy demonstrated) or killing them (which I unironically saw being suggested here on Reddit), since that’s somehow “the lesser evil”?!

the developed world needs to import people so they can keep their high living standard without suffering from inflation in low paid jobs.

If you're looking directly into the eye of the black hole now, it means that was the position 657 million years ago. Gamma-ray speed is the same as visible light, which mean they arrive at the same time.
However, GRB's spread out over 2°-20°, severely reducing its effect over distance.
Which means it has to be pretty close to do any damage. (It would have to be in our part of the Milkyway.)

The coalition seems rather unlikely to survive even a pause. Some of the children in it (Ben Gvir) are throwing hissy fits over the very idea.

The ozone layer would be the first major crisis following a gamma-ray burst, and that happens at roughly 3000 light years.
So we have a safety factor of x219000

I imagine it's due to them trading with other nations, which results in certain amount of profit based on amount goods and service produced. If you reduce the workforce, your productivity drops, as a result you reduce the profit.

Tbh McDonald's here is quite progressive, the local franchisee doesn't open branches in the occupied territories (the West Bank).

Because you don't have an even distribution between old and young people. In your example the population decrease from 100 to 80 would mean a drop in ice cream workers from 25 to maybe 15, meaning they wouldn't be able to make enough ice cream cones for the 80 people. It's the general issue that most of the western world is facing. Less young people to carry the work load and more old people requiring resources.

Report me for what? It was the news report at the time, when Netanyahu was supposed to give a statement. He then changed his mind. You can't change the title of a post after you posted it.
