Don't get me wrong, screw Erdogan and what Turkey does to the Kurdish people, but they also didn't exactly pull that out of their backside, did they?

The PKK is designated a terrorist organization by various countries (such as the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand), as well as the EU, for a reason.

They have a history of suicide bombings, killing swathes of civilians and operating with child soldiers. I can't help but feel sympathy for their general cause and when putting the methods aside, but their claim that they're just a political party is laughable.

Who the fuck cares what Russia thinks. If Moldova wants to invite Ukraine in to help clean up the mess that Russia created than that’s what will happen. It is the same if Moldova asks Romania for help. Also, what is Russia going to do? Invade Ukraine? They’re already doing that. Invade Romania? Not a chance since Putin is terrified of NATO.

Those aren’t the only two options, you know. I know discussion over the internet is hard and it’s easy to want to demonize the anonymous person you are speaking with, but damn. I support Ukraine but US boots on the ground means direct military conflict with Russia, which means nuclear weapons are on the table. I don’t see that resulting in a positive outcome for anyone.

Unless you have some reason you don’t think we have any reason to fear the use of nukes? Putin doesn’t strike me a particularly rational actor.
