Just be careful not to swing the arm the other way, and drastically overspend at the cost of losing what you have. The American model is barely sustainable, and hurts the populace. I fell through my attic and was mostly fine, but since we were worried I was seriously hurt, and I had a nail sticking out of my foot, we called an ambulance. They cleaned it, got me to a hospital, they took the debris out and gave me a tetanus shot and let me limp out the door. I've been fighting the hospital, the ambulance service and health insurance since. It was a $2000 ambulance ride, with another $1000 in hospital bills. Insurance covered about a third, after harassing them for months. And the ambulance company and insurance company can't decide whether or not they covered their share yet. That was a year ago. If I hadn't had enough money set aside, I'd be getting buried in late fees, and interest.

Sounds like he wants another US government bailout.

What this is (perhaps) really about: Russia has been depending on oil and gas exports to run its economy. Gas was discovered under eastern Ukraine and Crimea. Russia needs to get control of that gas to prevent its economy from being undermined.

I really wasn't making any sort of statement about my thoughts or opinions. I was just correcting the top comment on this post because it seemed like they misunderstood what it was saying. But thanks anyways for the dire warning...

Reply to comment by irk5nil in Norway: Thunberg joins Indigenous protests against turbines. The young environmental activist says green energy cannot come at the expense of human rights. A court order has deemed the turbines' location in Norway illegal, as they disrupt Sami reindeer-herding traditions by DoremusJessup
There are plenty of alternatives to wind turbines that aren't fossil fuel based which do far less harm to fragile ecosystems.

Give it another 5-10 years. Not only cheetahs, but many other species... You'll get used to reading "officially declared extinct" about as often as "record breaking heat in January"

I'd argue that Central Asian immigrants are still in more danger in Russia than someone from Western Europe, or a European American.

Considering that it's America, only the African, Asian, and Latin American spies will face charges, along with ordinary Africans, Asians, and Latin Americans who did nothing wrong and were loyal to the United States.
And Russian and other European spies will face almost no consequences.

I didn't read the article, but the headline is only pointing out that the last CUB IN IRAN'S CAPTIVITY has died. It's not saying the very last Asiatic Cheetah, ever, has died..
