Bakhmut has served it's purpose. I hope UA does not allow encirclement of any number of forces and pulls them out in time, to fight another day. Madyar's report from Bakhmut sounded really grim today. Russia's tactics of throwing wave after wave of bodies to gain ground meter by meter sort of "worked". But after taking it, Wagnerites will be exhausted and exposed to inevitable counteroffensive. It will be tactical (not strategical) victory, but at very heavy cost. And there's literally hundreds of Bakhmuts ahead of them.

Over use and not finishing the course of antibiotics when people take them. The resistant ones are the last to die. People feel better and stop taking their antibiotics then the infection returns. It's a resistant organism this time. Then they spread that. Another antibiotic stops working for that organism.

Life in luxury for 30 years is better than shit in 60 years...but I am not pessimistic like you. We figured out Ozone hole and covered it up and recovered it, we will figure out a way to sustain ourselves. My home is almost fully solar powered, my nation is on its way to be carbon neutral by 2070, etc.

I mean this is silly. Don’t burn fossil fuels for energy (they pollute), don’t use nuclear reactors (they melt down), and don’t build renewable power (it shuffles deck blocks animal migrations).

At some point environmental activists aren’t helping the environment they’re just obstructing progress.
