I bet it’d fuck Putin right up if NATO started conducting strikes in Ukraine.
Wouldn’t be threatening an inch of Russian territories or a single Russian citizen. More than we could say for what Russia is doing to Ukraine and innocent Ukrainian civilians

Before opening this thread, as an Aussie, I thought to myself "I bet you the first comment in here will be some neck beard trying to be funny with a boring stereotype about Australia" and there we have it.

So it don’t get stuck in turtles noses. Plastic pollution is a different issue than global warming

Reply to comment by Wear-Fluid in Macron seeks Beijing’s help to end Ukraine war by upvote-for-rights
But what he’s doing here is (1) calling their bluff, and (2) playing “good cop” which is what France’s role almost always is with Russia and China. He’s basically telling China - “You want to end the war? Great. So do we. Go tell Russia to stop attacking Ukraine, and the war will be over and you will have helped the West.” Everyone knows China can’t do that, so… calling the bluff. It’s a smart strategy, and closer to what Ukraine itself is doing, because it’s a win/win. Either China doesn’t stop Russia, in which case China is called out for their hypocrisy on the world stage, or somehow they achieve the impossible and get Russia to pull out of Ukraine, pay reparations etc.

Hypothetically, if there was an indigenous tribe called the Coali that burned coal to survive as a tradition, would you still support protecting them from wind mills?

So an indigenous tribe’s right to herd reindeer is more important than averting a climate crisis? This just shows it was never about solving climate change, but being politically correct.
If an indigenous tribe wanted to burn coal all day, should we respect that and not build green energy on their land? Absolutely ridiculous.

It will end the world as we know it. Meaning it will not resemble what it does now, and likely not for the better obviously.

The content were doing just fine before she got involved. My impression is that she is being brought in to discredit the cause. It is definitely working. Here we are, discussing her instead of these awful wind turbines. Guilty as charged.

As an aussie in a town with a lot of pubs, I have yet to see a pub that actually has fosters on tap. Only a handful even served it at all, and they were in more touristy areas.
