Reply to France, Germany, and the UK offer a plan for Ukraine that doesn’t include NATO membership by Core2score
I'm really pissed off.
>But it’s not clear to what extent the two objectives — arming Ukraine and pursuing peace negotiations with Russia — are conditionally linked, Fix said. “It might be that these two issues are discussed at the same time, but I would find it difficult if there was a linkage, and I find it difficult to believe that the linkage would be Ukraine only gets additional defense and security support if it agrees to negotiations.”
their own article reports this statement, yet all the rest of it seems determined to see the exact opposite in the situation.

Could you imagine a world where Putin voluntarily submitted himself, with evidence to take down all of his supporters, oligarchs and global connections to The Hague for a plea bargain and sits in a Dutch prison for the rest of his life.

Russians are all talk. They should concentrate on getting enough body bags from China.

It's sort of neo-colonialism.
Chinese are building a railroad which Pakistan is paying for by taking loans from China. China brings it's own companies and workers to work on it. The railroad will most likely be used to transport Chinese goods from Gwadar to other parts of Pakistan and eventually into China and vice versa.

Apparently she lived with 20+ birds in her home so that’s probably a safe bet.

Kinda like your neighbors giving you water buckets to put out the fire the arsonist next door alighted on your porch, but the neighbors refuse to help you put out the fire and would prefer you and the arsonist next door make peace and let the arsonist have the porch.

But their population is also very rural and spread out, with little travel or interaction outside of local communities (you need a travel pass to even leave your village), and demographics that skew young.
Although the military could be an important vector due to their omnipresence and relative mobility. But they're also all young and relatively fit.
I would think the elites, living their somewhat more modern lives in Pyongyang, would be the most at risk. I assume only the very very elite (i.e. Kim and friends) have access to the kind of healthcare needed to offset the risk of living in an urban setting.

Offering up nothing more then my personal opinion here I believe that if the Palestinians choose peace and play their cards right they could be enormously economically successful. I’ve never been but from what I hear about Gaza and their climate and beaches the place could be another Monte Carlo, and the religious tourism in the West Bank would be off the charts, if people felt safe.
