The only concession that the majority of Palestinians are willing to accept is an end to the Jewish state and to push the Jews into the sea. This is the position of Hamas and a popular position among the people, even in Fatah/PLO controlled areas. The Palestinians rejected peace during the Camp David accords in the 90's when they were being offered everything except control of Jerusalem. Now they can't even get that offer back because of 25 years of settlements.

It's interesting that Russian election interference on Canada in favour of the far-right didn't attract nearly enough attention. It's like people accept it as a fact. Then when it comes to China, people get whipped into a frenzy.

I should also add that interference on foreign country's politics is something that Western countries often do. It's just it's legitimized and people don't bat an eye because of that.

It's so sad that they celebrate murdering civilians. Not that I would agree with it, but I could at least understand why they might celebrate a successfully raid on an IDF post or killing IDF soldiers in a shootout. But this is over two Israeli citizens that were just driving their car around. That's awful.

r/worldnews is news from the US perspective after all, and US obviously have an agenda to push when it comes to this topic as China is their main economic rival

Anything pro china = propaganda or bots

Anything positive sounding = must be fake news

Anything negative = no need to verify, must be true and updoot to the top

And the titles, they've gotta add some aggressive sounding titles to exaggerate the threat, "Slams, threatens, warns, upset, aggressively, "

US rounds up japanese in camps = internment camps

China rounds up Chinese uighurs in camps = genocide

Both actions are bad but the selective naming convention is quite evident

Some random guy in China tweets something bad on the the internet, and the titles are like "China says etc etc"

The west isn't one entity, nor is the east. Every country's got their own interests and will ultimately does what's best for itself.

can you please give examples showing how israel supposedly regularly targets civilians? I.e. civilans killed for simply existing, not in proximity to a firefight.

I am not denying that there have been civilian deaths on the palestinian side, I am denying that Israel has a policy of targeting civilians for no reason other than to kill a palestinian.

The point is, There are palestinian groups that exist to kill jews. including civilians. Including kids in beds. including people having a drink at a pub - just regular civilians, not soldiers involved in a firefight.
