> It IS endangered...they're illegally sourcing African Wild Asses.
There is nothing in the article that suggests that they are. The article mentions that South Africa is involved in the trade. The geographical range of African wild asses is on, and just north of, the Horn of Africa, thousands of kilometres away. The article mentions that millions of donkeys are slaughtered each year, while there are just a few hundred wild African Donkeys in existence.

first of all that first line is funny, credit where credit is due.
now india is already in the process of doing that, but what reddit experts like you don't understand is that changing arms and supply chains takes time. by the time india will have done it fully to not rely on russia this war will have been long over.

How does Macron not see this for the power grab it is from China? Appearing reasonable now to set the stage for some fuckery later.

Do these sanction push all children of Russian elite back to Russia? Seem like we could make it so none of the ruling class or their families could leave Russia.

Russia is a federation of many countries some of which may think they'd be better off independent.

How long will it be before India gets off the Russian titty? It looks like Putin has sold out Russia to China. The West is dangling trinkets such as subs and arms. So buying Russian weapons will be less of an option, and buying Western systems more of an option over time. Since India is proud to look out for itself, it may find its self-interest to vote with the West. It won't be about noble principles such as international law, sovereignty or human rights, but about where India makes a profit and gets economic development.

Ukraine is "only" a European country, Taiwan is the worlds hub of vital microchips. If you think the west's repsonse to Russia is strong, China is in for a rude awakening should they start some shit with Taiwan

Jeez the very article you posted pretty specifically contradicts the statements you’re making.

To be clearer, public opinion polls back this up.
And honestly, Indian nationalists on reddit are downright pleasant when compared to Indian nationalists in non-English speaking circles. Much more talk of revenge and dominance than trade or independence lol.
The nationalist comments that dislike the West and like Russia are indeed a plurality, if not majority

How so? I'm not a geopolitical expert, just interested in trade and econ and geopolitics.
Not sure what bubble you mea. Am in Russian telegrams, Indian news and Hindu speaking areas, Chinese media apps, etc.
If anything, Indian media and people are even more anti West in Hindi speaking circles than English ones. Hence China being their largest trade partner

I understand your sentiment, but the scientific loss of the ISS would be significant. We have less costly things to drop on Putin's head if that is how we must deal with him.
