Germany plans to send the tanks until end of March. The crew training will also be completed until then.

I guess most of the Leo2s from the first batch are scheduled for that date. Hopefully at least enough to equid two full battalions. One with 2A6 (and similar versions) and one with 2A4.

Turkey hasn't has had a free press, let alone the ability for anyone to speak freely without repercussions, since Erdogan used "the coup" as an excuse to become Sultan of Turkanistan (which no doubt offends Turkmenistan's dictatorship).

This earthquake will be his "delay elections" card and he will further use it (like he uses the Turkish people and economy) to favor himself and his family's fortunes and further keep Russia's potential victims out of NATO.

Frankly, doesn't even sound like much. If we assumed 1kg per clothing article made of plastic, that amounts to 37,000 tons per year. Even in Sub-Saharan Africa, it is estimated that waste produced is approximately 1kg per person per day for a total of 60 MILLION tons per year.

It isn't good to send unusable trash to Africa but this hardly scratches the surface percentage wise and that assumes that non of these plastic articles of clothing are usable which is rather unlikely.

Of course the other odd thing is that clothes with some polyester, rayon etc are normal so labelling them as "plastic" is kind of misleading at best. (it is likely that any clothes with elastic band will contain some form of rubberized plastic materials, for example)

No sorry. You have the right to believe in whatever you want. As Whoopi Goldberg said, if you don't want gays to get married then don't marry one. That's as far as anyone gets to go. The second you try to use those beliefs to impact the private lives of others then you crossed a line. If you aren't going to serve the rights of all citizens of your country then you don't belong in politics.

And it means significant impact on the local textile and sewing industry. The majority is burned, creating other hazards.

> Every day in Kenya, about 150 to 200 tonnes of textile waste – between 60 to 75 truckloads – ends up being dumped, burnt, or sent to overflowing dump sites.

Their foreign reserves are the same value as their national debt, basically if it's frozen then they can write off the debt and come out even. Then they're setting up bilateral trade agreements with vital partners that cut the USD out. They have a SWIFT alternative too. It's also a local consumption driven economy for the most part. I think they've already set themselves up to be financially independant.
