I would check out clockoutdc on Instagram and find some good lectures or events for the time you are there. They have such comprehensive offerings there is surely something to please everyone.
Also, after Meridian Hill Park I would suggest hitting up Dan’s Cafe for the real DC experience. Just tell them it’s a speakeasy. It is within walking distance, just maybe not back after.

Take advantage of the incredible diversity of people and cuisine here. Every nation in the world sends people here for diplomacy, work and school and there are very significant diaspora communities from every populated continent. Get to know people who grew up with a total world view and try as many cuisines, sports, music, etc. as you can.

I largely support the revised code, but I just think it's plainly obvious the realistic options are either we keep the 1900-era code (maybe with minimal changes made) or we use the new code the Council passed.

Many years (decades) ago I had gone to see Armin Van Buuren at Fur and showed up there at 430am trying to get some food before heading home. Security refused to let us inside. Not sure what they were trying to stop, as the inside already looked like an absolute zoo. People dancing, others fighting, everyone smoking.
