I looked into that one. You can join their membership and get access to events but the events are few and far between

In my high school, anyone making a huge mess for janitors/ workers to clean up was yelled at for being a dick

There is one on Quincy St in Arlington not far from the Virginia Square stop. I am not sure it is open to the public since its owned by Arlington Public Schools.

She talks of a national divorce. Humanity needs her to be divorced from the human race.

In my hometown it was way less like this. That was probably the result of workers seeing a kid and knowing who their parents were/ where to direct their complaints. The anonymity of crowds is too protective, I guess.

Looking at the redesign rendering... I'm sorry but does "protected bike lanes" mean they painted a line on the road? Does that stop a 13 year old in a Kia?

$700-$900/month for a family of four. That includes a packed school lunch for both kids and working mostly from home. Kids are expensive!

When I was a teen I had a stutter and terrible anxiety because my parents beat me. Not advocating for that, but I was public transportation's most socially conscious passenger lol.

Man, I went to high school in a rural town with 800 people. I count setting off firecrackers and unsafe sex as less anti-social than staring down a frail old lady standing while you're lying across a row of bus seats (another thing I see them do frequently). That's so personal and so uncaring?

It can be distorted.
But its an increase on an increase during the first half of last year.
So a concerning trend

Well, when I was 18 a group of kids in SE threw a big gulp full of sprite at my head on the way to a job interview and soaked me. But I'm going to sympathize more with kids who have like real struggles in life than snotty ones who do it because their parents taught them they're too special to be nice.

I have had better luck in DC acknowledging people's existence instead of dissing them, even if I don't give them a cent. But ignoring people can escalate certain encounters. It's a case by case crapshoot. That's been my experience. Went to school here-stayed for years. Then left for years. Came back. Still works. YMMV.

Are people really surprised that after >1 million excess deaths across the country and a mass trauma event, people are not doing well? I know redditors don't want to talk about solutions that don't involve a cop on every corner, but that's probably what we should be looking at.

On one hand, she's nowhere near fun enough to enjoy a place like Dan's Cafe.
On the other hand, Dan's bathroom might make it the only place in the city she can stay for any period of time without people around her constantly asking what the foul stench in the air is.

Your submission appears to be asking about parking.
Your first resources are available here and here.
Unless you are in a residential area of the city, there is no such thing as reliably free and easy long-term parking. Please read parking signs carefully, even locals get confused sometimes.
Useful apps for parking include ParkMobile for street parking and SpotHero for garage spaces.
Visiting a friend in the city? Ask them for a free visitor parking pass from any MPD station.
Did you receive a ticket? Are you guilty? If so, pay it. Pictures and incorrect information doesn't matter.
