Still a police problem though.

”Saldo's car has a tracking system called Uconnect. When she turned it on, she saw it was pinging a garage in Anacostia. She gave the location to police and says officers found a man passed out inside her car. But, she says, since police had never marked her car as stolen, they didn’t arrest the man.”

Police didn’t care enough to label a clearly stolen vehicle as stolen. Wrist-slaps and less paperwork all the way.

i haven't used them myself, but they have a bad habit of blocking bike lanes and sidewalks without providing a safe way around, then apologizing profusely when they get caught/reported, until the next time.

You just said the data doesn’t show a correlation — soo don’t you have the data in front of you?

More cops = less crime in the long-run compared to baseline existing crime rate (caused by external social factors). The 90s were the height of the crack epidemic, the baseline crime rate was far higher — and over time, the police were able to bring the crime rate down.

Word of caution - the change in end stop signage can make someone who is not familiar with the area get confused about which platform to board from - regardless of the name on the train, just make sure it's blue, and the platform signage aligns with the directions above.

There are station managers that should* help you (ymmv) and there are signs listing off the various stops - just read over those and choose the one that includes Rosslyn.

Huh? I’m sorry you can’t do data analysis? Numbers are all there.

DC also has a much higher base line policing requirement due to staffing protests and protecting soft targets. So the comparison of police officers to other U.S. cities is just sort of sadly ignorant of the underlying arguments here.

More cops = less murders. Sorry that makes you upset.

Can we stop with this misinformation. the weather has been like this multiple times in the recent past, including six years ago. Climate ≠ weather.

When we have unusually cold days (like 0 degrees in December) is that global cooling?
