But according to GambetDC, GambetDC is experiencing "phenomenal growth." https://www.fox5dc.com/news/gambetdc-saw-phenomenal-growth-in-2022

Don’t sleep on some Go-Go if the Winston’s are making the list. The definition of underground music. A regional sub-genre of live club music that most people outside of the DMV have heard but few could name.

I’m sure some are trolling. But many are likely real people expressing real fears about crime in their communities. It’s not being overly dramatic as many in this sub seem to believe it is.

Did i say that? I very much want police to do more in seeking out the core problem. However, that doesnt change the issue that these posts go beyond trolling, and seem to have commonalities and signs that they are a focused narrative.

I maintain that DC peaked when it was being run by the Control Board with Tony Williams at CFO. Ever since he left the Mayor's office, the rot started setting in; the way DC contracting setasides work, you have a handful of "small, disadvantaged, locally owned contractors" who put their name on the contract, collect their check, and subcontract the work out to out-of-town businesses that actually do the work. Same situation with the sports betting and online gambling apps; "emergency" legislation was passed, which means little if any oversight. Instead of having multiple apps like Virginia, you get one poorly cobbled together POS that nobody uses.

Embrace was at the forefront of the Revolution Summer, and spawned a whole generation of post hardcore music.

You’re delusional if you earnestly believe DC doesn’t have a crime problem.

Im not saying every 4number account is associated with this. My point is, making a burner account is very easy, and there has been an uptick of these kinds of posts, trying to make it seem like the sky is falling, or people are being lied to about how much DC is like New Jack City, or whatever… its a pattern. And when you see a concerted effort like that, you have to ask, for what… who gains by this constant messaging. I used to see this in FFX underground all the time, people thought its just low iq trolls, but it was being headed up by very powerful interests in the county and outside the county like David LaRock. Look him up.

If you like very overpriced with mediocre food (but decent duck), you've found the place.
Not hating, I still take guests from out of town but more for the experience than the food or value. Which I think you are looking for, so it matches

I've been wondering about the food truck situation. I've been gone for about 4 years. I had to come in to the office recently and was excited to see the food truck selection at Farragut/McPherson but there was nothing there! What happened to them all?

"cost" Only two people have lost money running a casino: Donald Trump and DC.
Some day the transcripts of the chats will come out with "Consulting fees" and "carry out receipts" and "bribes... I mean uh... not bribes" and it will be hilarious.

Pretty much everything is in their underground storage. You go into the building and find the room of the genre/topic area you want to search and get on a computer to search something, then provide the info (call number, etc) to a clerk there and they will retrieve it for you to view in one of their small research rooms. I think you can even search ahead of time from home and be ready to provide them list of what you want to see
