Reply to How to get from DC to BWI and back? by MrDucky04
Once you get to the BWI stop you have to take a shuttle bus to get to the airport which is very close by. Something to think about if you take the Marc or Amtrak

The Chief of MPD and the mayor have both made similar comments - people are feeling scared when it's not dangerous out.

Exactly. And for an outlet that doesn't focus on crime, this is an incredibly well put together, and well balanced piece.

Reply to Parking costs by NoMoreMonkeyBrain
free at work, residential parking permit at home, so $35 a year going up to $50 when i renew in a couple months. my car has also been hit a few times right in front of my place, so a garage would be nice, but not $2500 a year nice.

I'm too far removed from college to remember much about Thomas Friedman or what haughtiness means but if I were you I'd probably consider calling the police rather than relying on Popville for security or whatever it is you are looking to find.

I really like Laufey. She used to live in DC and recorded one of her albums while living here. A true pioneer driving today’s young folks towards modern jazz. She recently did some collaborations with the Philharmonic Orchestra as well.

I’m actually doing a lot of problem solving if you ask me! I’m taking advantage of interstate sign up bonus arbitrage opportunities. I’m on a tight schedule these next few days and need to be able to place the bets and get back to work as quickly as possible. It’s hundreds of dollars in risk-free money if I can do this in time — 100% legal.
Just a fun thing to distract me from work for a bit. I think you took the “degenerate” piece too literally ;)

How exactly does viewing stuff in the library work? I've always been curious but too nervous to do more then look around the public areas and figured (I now realize falsely) that I needed to be in academia or something.
