Did you know "County Roads" was written in DC? Probably best not to include it, but it would be funny.

OP is a new account that is only commenting about crime. How does this post have so many upvotes? Astroturfers at it again?

Peter Chang has amazing restaurants, but I don't think that they are what OP is looking for.

Exactly. The point of this is the gap between the data and how safe people feel in the city. And even what they were doing was citing statistics that undermine the way some folks feel about their safety that’s still not gaslighting.

About 7 years ago, there was so much snow that we couldn't leave our building in DC.
And maybe 9 years ago, while living in McLean, I had a flight out of Dulles, and the only road open was the one to the airport. Getting out of the neighborhood with suitcases was a group effort

yeah Its really annoying. I really hate when people try to use the local coffee shop as a study hall. It's like, hey, you all have a house you can goto, stop it.

Data. How does it work? [“According to police data, both violent and property crime is down over the last seven years, compared to the seven years before, in Adams Morgan . . . “]

Data says that when crime goes above the the average of the the 7 years preceding than the last 7 years we can worry about it.
Any other increase is basically irrelevant.
