Reply to Quickest way to get from Capitol Hill to either Maryland or Virginia so I can place a sports bet? by WillAnderson419
I live in downtown silver spring and I can’t bet online because I’m too close to the border for the sites to verify that I’m not in DC. You might need to go further outside of the District than you think.

I mean, when the problem involves being able to place another bet, yes. He is asking for the fastest way though, not just any way.

What’s plan B once you get out considering you have a doctorate. Genuinely curious.

I can’t even explain the appreciation I feel from this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Someone I love dearly needs help and I think this is a huge step in the direction

I’m fairly certain the ones I’m viewing are under copyright and I definitely won’t post them anywhere. Really just want to see them with my own eyes. Thanks!!

I hope you enjoy your 800 questions on where to find a tailor, which neighborhoods are "safe neighborhoods", and where to find a 1 BR apartment with parking in the city for under $1000.

please remember to follow all rules about records usage— some archival records labeled for “research purposes” or personal use might have copyright or usage restrictions and should not be shared on social media. when in doubt, ask the archivist or librarian!

you wil need a readers card to get into the working part of the library, and on the form they will ask your age and reason. research is reason enough. age is because they no longer want to deal with highscholers. the area schools used to assign research papers and mandated the loc experience.

Occasionally do the same thing. Go to crystal city mall. Less than a 10 min drive

I just went to your link and literally zero of the shootings you are apparently referring to are in Anacostia. In fact on the map you linked there are only two crimes at all in Anacostia, one burglary and one robbery.
However the map you linked is showing crimes in a massive portion of the area, all the way from Suitland (which isn't even in DC) to Carver Langston which isn't in the same Ward or even Quadrant as Anacostia, which leads me to believe that you either don't understand how to use or read that crime map or you don't know what Anacostia even is.

It doesn't sound like this would be browsing though, this is specific boxes and cases that OP has already picked out and will be asking for, not just perusing through the stacks.

Dude, don't you hate when you go to a coffee shop or bakery and just want to sit down for 5 minutes but you can't because there's 100 people "working" there on a sunday morning at 10am?
Yeah, it sucks. don't be one of those people

It's small money, and stupid beef. Usually pretty petty stuff tbh. Violent criminals aren't good at risk vs reward analysis or trying to build some sophisticated criminal enterprise.

The stacks aren't open access for browsing.

I think it’s poor form to camp out for hours and hours off of a $10 bill so that no one else can sit. On the weekend Georgetown is crowded so it’s difficult to get a seat at any coffee shop.
As a default, cafes shouldn’t be a WeWork.

To be clear, I have specific boxes picked out and know what exactly what I’ll be asking for. I just didn’t know if I needed an official reason to view them (like I’m writing a book or dissertation).

Doing the same thing somewhere else. Salary compression means that just by moving institutions I can probably get a pretty good bump. I could do even better by going into Ed tech or corporate writing gigs but unfortunately I actually like teaching college.
