Management company ! By virtual tour it looked really nice. We checked the management company online and apparently they exist š Iām thinking that maybe is ācheapā because the street is noisy or problematic on the weekends..

The person who authored the game Wingspan was a health policy analyst at a CRO. The owner/chef/something? of Clarity in Vienna was a Booz Allen veep or something.

So you're proposing to increase fares for regular commuters? To be clear: you want the actual lifeblood of the system to subsidize casual users on the weekends?

Spy Museum!!
Tickets run from $18-20 and they have timed slots but itās typically very easy to get in. You could even try to get in as a walk-in.

My internship is unpaid, Iām doing it alongside a fully remote full-time job in political consulting. Iām hoping it will give me a leg up come time to find a full-time role once I graduate.
The work environment is good and coworkers are all super amazing individuals. But yeah, as a few folks have pointed out itās an insanely competitive sector on top of the fact many entry opportunities are volunteer/unpaid in nature. Not saying itās a good thing, but itās the status quo.

End the night with hot chocolate at the Lincoln Memorial!
I think the monuments look best at night and the weather may cooperate just enough that itās hot chocolate cold, not āoh my godā cold.

Look into History Associates. Theyāre based in Rockville but will help with gaining experience in a ton of areas. I worked with them before landing my current federal archival job. Clients include museums, law firms, national parks, universities, state governments, corporations, quite literally every field.

It is worth the money to come a week early and find something in person.

Yes, we try our best to avoid scams š© but at the same time, we need to find something ideally before arriving, because temporal options like airbnbs are really expensive ā¦.

Metro isn't really a moneymaker, the same that roads don't make money. Fares pay for some, but taxes pay for the rest. Quality, inexpensive service takes cars off the road. I'm happy for my tax dollars to go to reducing the number of cars I have to deal with, especially those from Maryland.

Do NOT pay for anything or send any money unless you've seen a place in person and have a signed lease in hand. There are many scams out there.
