Also, the one by Dulles. It's really cool to see a real space shuttle close up.

My 11 year old daughter loved walking the mall and going to every outdoor memorial and reading everything! We started at Jefferson and walked through to MLK, it hits Lincoln, WW1, WW2, FDR, Vietnam, Korea Wars, & Woman Suffrage(?)

If you've not signed up for your day passes to the Smithsonian's, you're already SOL.

I think there are lots of people in this thread who may be unaware that buying bulk means buying by weight... so the bulk means that the store is buying in bulk, and you can buy as little as you want. https://homeinthefingerlakes.com/bulk-shopping-25-essential-spices-pantry/
I can understand the confusion coming from the use of the word "bulk"!

If she’s old enough to bike, you can see a little of everything in a day. Thats what I always suggest to family/friends/patrons. Start at The Jefferson and follow the water. Hit a U at the Lincoln and head back up to the Capitol.

YES natural markets. Several locations. Whole Foods, too , maybe . In the past, they used to at P St. NW, but I'm not sure if they still do.

Would love to come to this. Is the goal on this day to clean up the tidal basin area? Just saw on their website that they provide everything and all we need to do is show up, but i don't see any details of the 11th on their calendar.

Ride the metro if you aren't from around here! My nephew is fascinated that we use trains to get everywhere.
