Gotcha. Yeah I'm more looking to save $$ on spices since I never go through a whole bottle anyways. But if I need something niche I'll check it out.

very few of them are. huge misperception IMO. like, do you think a 28-32 year old guy likes dating a a 22-23 year old? there's huge difference in life experiences between early and late 20s.

They don't have everything, but Costco. They have maybe 20-30 different varieties is large containers. Like 12-28oz containers that are about the same price as the tiny ones on grocery stores.

Ah yes, the dichotomy of the situation: 1) Kid gets shot or 2) Teacher gets shot.
Certainly no middle ground.

What I have experienced is that they may have certain herbs that other stores do not.
Their site has a functional search option that displays price and size for a respective item.

The original out of Texas did when they opened their first store on P Street, but they’ve been bought and sold at least twice since then and they’ve greatly changed. I miss being able to go to the fish counter and buy heads and tails and trimmings - basically what they’d discard when they filet fish- for very cheap to use as a soup base.

Thanks! Are they cheaper than grocers, or is it about the same?

Other suggestions: Planet Word, and if she’s a shopper check out City Center which is very close by (has a HUGE Tiffany’s and fun upscale window shopping. Very pretty at night!)

Yes! Also if you’re in NW DC, check out the cupcakes from A Baked Joint. They’re owned by Baked & Wired, aka the best cupcakes in DC and they carry the cupcakes!

I recommend the Hay Adams (Lafayette)!!! Right next to the White House. A bit pricy but not horrible and definitely memorable. Anyone can walk in and eat there and there’s a not small chance you’ll see a well known face if you study beforehand… I’ve seen a few presidential candidates or family members in 4-5 times going 👀

They’re probably saying that we pay taxes and they should go towards keeping the city clean and not left to the citizens.
