It is super disconcerting (unbelievable almost) that a 21-year-old can get caught for armed carjacking, get probation, get caught for armed robbery, get probation, then get caught for murder. To paraphrase a gentleman from the article "growing up poor is not a pass to be a violent criminal."

I just read the petition and it seems pretty clear the ask is that the FAA work with AlertDC, not asking Arlington Cemetery folks to do more... the FAA already has the flyover info and the ability to coordinate with AlertDC, it's just asking them to be consistent. Seems pretty uncontroversial IMO.

Well, partially this. But replacing single family homes with duplexes or small apartment buildings, or row homes (some, not all) with 5+ story apartment buildings goes a long way too.

Eh, he could possibly get off on that last part too. I'm not in the situation myself, but my first instinct as a bystander would be to verbally confront him and get him to sit down somewhere else.
Maybe tell him that there are people online he can pay to get what he wants, stop making a public space uncomfortable for everyone else.

We left right before the remodel began. We’ve been back once since, for a birthday party, and I’m not sure how I feel about the new vibe. I also understand I’m no longer the target demographic though. 🤷♂️

Take a photo/video and file an actual police report - not with metro PD. Move to another car. Completely ignore it. Mace the fucker if he gets close (watch out for other passengers 😅). He is getting off on your reaction. If you don't react, he will go away. Send video to local news stations.
If all else fails. Laugh and loudly explain that you've never seen a dick so small.
