Such loans will increase reserve requirements a lot for these banks, so It will be not as good, as op thinks.

Inflation is coming down too fast still. It’s a topic for debate apparently but I don’t think we will see stagflation. Unless it will last for 3-6 months, in which case, who cares

I fundamentally disagree with you. I stand by my assertion that big banks would have no problem with many regional banks going under. In fact, a banking system where even more money was centralized with a dozen big banks would be their ultimate preference. I don’t believe the biggest banks deposited $30B to prevent regional bank failure contagion. Not at all. They have a different relationship with FRC, clearly.

I’m up on SLG shares and also bought in on all its preferred shares as well, just bought in at the beginning of market yesterday. I use an AI program that trades for me, was surprised to find out it selected these. I don’t know anything about SLG, the dividends look nice. I also thought it was strange that the AI selected commercial real estate. Maybe people are going to be headed back to the office and commercial real estate is oversold? Let’s see.

There is nowhere in the market that is telling you sovereign debt yields will rise to 9-10%. That’s so absurd it borders on conspiracy. Your apocalyptic and way-too-self-assured style of speaking confirms that you’re listening to quacks. Best of luck waiting for the world to end. I’m sure it will be immensely profitable for your counterparties.

The fed starts cutting rates when it’s ethical for them to hold equities again - of course it’s going to happen quietly in the middle of the night and you may never notice.
