You could use the "directional_bias" column to make choices on stocks, but this is 90% focused on option pricing (volatility).

Safest play: sell the most "expensive" options, out of the money, and let them decay to 0.

Then again I am looking out further than you are and I'm using a longer pattern and I'm showing a longer historical correlation than you are. I have backed up my pattern by including a simple indicator and I have included a timing component which will help to prove myself correct or wrong . Right or wrong the market is going to decide . I was just trying to add content to your content . I've still got 2 to 3 weeks before I take on any leveraged positions . We will know soon enough . I'm going to correct the above . We both are looking at similar durations so I take that back . Good luck and I hope we both come out ahead over the rest of the year.

IV represents future expectations of price movement. I just compare that to past realized price movements.

What's the safest play then? Also, does it apply to buying shares? My mom doesn't allow me to play with my... options.

Jesus Christ, you Dunning-Kruger poster child, how can you be simultaneously smug yet clueless? You're "correcting" me like I'm the one not talking about on-topic stuff when you're the one off-topic. Nobody gives a shit about employee compensation and nobody was talking about employee compensation.
We are talking about Elon Musk's personal wealth, and his large stakeholding in Twitter is directly relevant to that discussion.
You must be one of the Twitter employees he kept around, because you are definitely highly-regarded. Fucking Tesla bag holders getting all misty-eyed everytime the topic of Twitter comes up. Sorry that I struck a nerve by reminding you of what a dumbshit you were to invest in Tesla at the peak of the bubble.

Canada's banks have chief economists that rehash what is already public knowledge via Bank of Canada minutes (our Fed) and statistics data. I ask myself... how much are these guys getting paid for what really is just a marketing stunt? And how much less would I be paying in bank fees if they removed them and their respective teams that provide zero value?

Good find. Basically if you look at TTD historical vol it moved "more" than is currently priced by puts or calls. Mainly it is explained by having a really volatile past 4 weeks
