Interesting… so when half of Americans go shopping they’re looking to buy guns? It’s a very vocal minority who bitches about guns…The reality is the margin completely blows on them and is not where most of these box retailers make their money. The money is in apparel, which Dicks carry’s a ton of. Kids do still play sports (although it’s participation is declining) and Dicks is one of the only places that actually has everything they’d need, store pick up and same day delivery has been huge for them on top of there normal ecomm biz

The special dividend wasn’t accounted for, before those options were written, so Theta was already priced in. Short sellers have to pay the DIV on shares shorted, so they took a hit on the strike price they borrowed at, if not hedged

With 0 DTE your timing has to be be impeccable and more risk if you’re wrong as they can become worthless pretty quickly if it moves against you. Trading 0DTE requires high movement and momentum to really capitalize on in my opinion. If spy is barely moving $2-$3 then I stay away, but if there’s volume and volatility like last Thursday, then they can be worth playing.

I believe that the UNP Mar 31 '23 $205 and UNP Mar 31'23 $200 options are going to be great investments. I would advise buying them as soon as possible.
