The moral agenda is, I admit, an illusion as everyone knows their agenda is profit based. But in an effort to maximize profit they cater to the child's disdain for rules and authority. Kids want to see examples of how it's possible to do bad things but still be liked, loved, and get everything that they want.
I mean if Aladdin got caught doing 90 percent of the things he does, during the era that is suggested, he would have a knife plunged into his abdomen and then he would pathetically bleed out on the cobblestone as wild dogs fight over his fingers. No ambulance, no lenient judges if you survive the stabbing, no investigation into your murder if you don't survive it. But that wouldn't make a good movie for babysitting, soooo....

And they also have to pay for someone to clean and maintain them, as well. So yeah, it's a little overpriced, but it's not like they are just pocketing ALL the money and bailing. There is more to it than just "pay the money and get a star".

Same here, kind of funny how its supposedly connected to UFO abductions (these bones are missing in cow mutilations from supposed UFO activity).

I spent 21.5 years behind a bar. Bitters and soda. Cures hangovers, headaches, upset stomachs and flatulence. Bitters and Bloody Mary mix are the bartenders two best friends.

I knew about this. I think I was watching a sci fi show where people were sent back to live in prehistoric times, and the moon was quite a bit bigger. The problem becomes what happens when the moon escapes earth's gravitational field. I believe I read somewhere that the pull of the moon on the earth's core is important. Someone clear this up if I'm wrong.

pretty much. he was just waiting for her to get "grown" on paper before he officially started fucking her. IMO it is kind of sinister lurking around in the shadows until someone gets legal on paper or grows tits. Just date someone your own age and stop acting like people your own age aren't good enough for you.

Not defending this guy, but there actually isn't a lot of evidence for the part about the executioners being dressed as Santas.
Public executions were a real thing under Nguema, and he did have over a hundred executed on Christmas Eve 1969, but the Santa suits is something I need to see actual fact-checked information on.
Of the two sources cited on Wikipedia for this awful event, one mentions the Santa costume thing as likely unfounded. The other makes no mention of Santa costumes.

Interestingly these bones are derived from bones that form gill arches in fish. They got repurposed to form our ear in one of our earliest ancestors!
