Mexico has really been beautiful the last two months, and I really enjoy walking the length of some of the Calles simply because you're always kept on your toes. Always something tasty around the corner too, I've had everything from tamales, pozole, and an absolutely amazing caldo de pollo

That aside, we're taking a four hour drive up to Merida for a relative's wedding and we've been warned that our asses are not going to have a good time so I am looking forward to experiencing the highways haha

I definitely get the odd look here in Mexico just for being a Singaporean-Chinese fellow, and my fiancee is pale as snow even though she lived between MX, UK, HK and SG

I've also spent my entire life in Singapore while she's spent the last eight so neither of us needed to drive since everything was never more than an hour away by public transport (we're both quite young but she has family here in Quintana Roo)

That said, getting a license is definitely a priority but we've only just started settling into the house and fixing things up, we didn't have a working gasline or stove until recently

The inside of the fuse box cover almost always has a diagram.

If you pull the wrong fuse, you can always put it back.

If the airbag is disabled, there's oftentimes a warning light that comes on. Good well to tell if you pulled the correct one.

Depends on the car. If it's a brand new car, maybe. Probably just pull the fuse. Less fiddly work. Quick and easy. Pop a cover, compare a diagram, yank and done.

Vs, get the scan tool out, find the connection port, connect the plug. Power it on, change the setting to the proper protocol, let it scan for connections, find the menu, find the component, disable it, then wonder why which one of the 5 or so reasons you can think of, did it not turn off.

And the functions of older cars CAN'T be disabled via scantool.

1998 dodge ram 1500. Plenty on the road. You'll never turn the functions off with a scantool unless you use it as a hammer.

Sometimes pulling a fuse gives you all the info you need.

So if it’s a spray tan, and it’s been 24hrs, you’ll have to sit it out. My best advice would be using dawn dish soap instead of regular soap to scrub that area down when you shower. It might help by a couple days, and if it isn’t that noticeable at the moment it should be gone in 3-5 days. I tried to do a spray tan and turned myself completely orange as a teen! It was gone within a week everywhere. Less noticeable after 2-3 days using dawn dish soap.

I am sorry that this happened to you. Especially that the items were sentimental items. I hope that they turn up or that you will be able to get some help finding them.

When my mum died in 2018, I met my sister & brother to clean out the house. We all had selected certain pieces of furniture from the house. The moving company that I used lost the top section (3' x 4') of a china cabinet and the base of an antique barrister bookcase. I kept calling and was told it was on a truck. After talking to the driver of the last truck that it was supposed to be on, they said that what I was looking for did not match what they had. Their items were originally to go to Tampa, then changed to my area, but the items were from three different shipments. When I last talked to the company, they said they were lost in transit. While I can use the bottom section of the china cabinet because it is a full piece on it's own. But I cannot use the bookcase because I don't have the base.

I found many stories about the moving company that I used and the problems that people had with them after I had my problem. I found out that the company I used and another company with a similar name were related to each other.

As someone who has been cheated on and tried staying together afterwards, I would highly recommend leaving this relationship. However, if you guys choose to stay together, you will need to get counseling for both of you. Also, I would not recommend keeping this a secret from people in your life. I tried to and I think it was much healthier after we broke up and I started to talk about what happened. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

I knew someone who always wanted a cat named Lucy. Named a kitten that, then found out she was a he, so morphed the name to Luki. He grew up to be a chonker, and, though he didn't meow often, his meow sounded more like a kitten than a big ol boy cat. XD

Yes, cats are very difficult to sex. Even more so when they're very young. And that's how I wound up with a female cat named Toby lol. She's never seemed to mind.

Most useful piece of knowledge I've gained around this particular topic is that if a cat is calico, they are ALWAYS female, or rarely, a sterile male. That colour pattern requires multiple X chromosomes so it's impossible to have a normally developed male cat with calico fur.

That's fair. Even if I would share stuff like that with someone like that for a laugh, it would still be in confidence. Other people don't need that info/ammo on me.

If you do get found out, I'm sure there's subreddits where you can get great pointers on how to revenge the fkers
