I live in Canada and some times banks here can recover money for you but there is a very fine line when that can be done. My friend had their bank accounts skimmed by a compromised bank machine and they thought they lost $13,000+ dollars but they recovered it for them. I hope it all works out for you. How old are you? You sound like a teenager. What you can do is accept that you have been needy, selfish, controlling and self-centered. That's where jealousy comes from. You need to accept her decision to take a break with a good attitude, and try to grow up a little. When you see her again, do not dump all your notes on her. You hurt her. So now you focus on her and put her feelings first. You don't pester her. You make a single sincere apology, and then let things be about her.

It's not unlikely that this therapist is charging an inordinate amount of money because she's a member of the quack brigade. You may want to google her and check for dreadful unscientific shit. I worked with a proper cognitive-behavioral therapist when I became sober and started self-destructing in other ways, and it was really useful.
