Yess we love an Aussie mate! Yeah thank you so much for your advice I’m going to talk it out with both of them. Unfortunately I don’t have any other family members to count on and just have my mum with me! But honestly I’m just waiting for the day I can go to uni so I can go no contact with my mum. So I guess I’ll have to rely on Reddit until then :/

Wtf are you talking about in the second half?

What someone likes or not is none of your business, and if you want to judge people go ahead, but don't expect them to be cool with it.

No one here, myself included, is saying the girl is to blame, just that she overreacted a bit. If op likes those things and she can't accept him, he dodged a bullet by not getting in a relationship with someone that can't accept him for what he is, that is all. In the same way you probably wouldn't like to date a person that has those tastes, so you can probably say they both dodged a bullet.

I don't use a Keurig because I don't drink coffee, but my brother uses one of those reusable pods and buys coffee grounds, this way you don't need to make as much coffee and always get the right amount but it costs about the same as if you were using the drip pot.

That therapist sounds like quite a twat, tbh. You were in a vulnerable position, and they should have never suggested that exercise. I know it's hard and you want to avoid nonsense, but if you feel worse after exercises like that, try not to let them talk you into it. It seems a bit self-serving of the therapist. "Look, I'm making progress, they hugged!" What I'm trying to say, is therapists can be clueless and pieces of turd too. Some can be very clinical, and obviously only seem to have been able to study but can't apply what they learned, or lack the life experience to relate.

Are there any family members you can count on?

Your mum is possibly (I say because I'm not a mind reader) feeling guilty, so on the defence. Doesn't make it anyone else's fault! Your mum, and grandpa are guilty. As well as your therapist for not keeping you safe.

I thought CAMHS was bad... shite!

Hope the slang makes sense, Australian here. Used to be hip wit it.

Funny thing is most people probably have dirty nasty coffee makers. The same people that complain a fast food place never cleans their drink dispenser are the ones the don't clean their own coffee maker.

That's the thing... I lived in a rural area that was culture wise, years behind cities, we mostly got drunk outside at 15 or went camping rather than anything online, MSN was new and had 2 player minesweeper. Hardly anyone was a "gamer"... Doing something like that in an innocent way would get someone made fun of for a bit, then they would see why it was creepy. The ones that took to blaming everyone else became pariahs.

Now, that will happen and reddit will pounce on a 15 year old, incels etc find comfort in warping other people. Tell them it's the girls fault for being creeped out, the friends fault for being too uncultured to understand hentai, they provide a sense of company. They aren't waiting to "accidentally" bump into someone after school, they are doing it online where they can reinforce the victim mentality.

Once someone's whole life is other creeps online it's too late. I once tried to "deprogram" an incel, I thought I was making progress but all I was actually doing was teach him how to hide the predatory cues he gave off.

I'm autistic.
Even if I actually go out places (limited due to physical disability) even /I/ would have the damn common sense not to call myself something like that.
I'm terrible with social queues but even I have common sense in at least a generous modicum.

You do not announce yourself as a threat or rapist like that, especially not in front of a bouncer. I'm sorry but how can you stand there and cry 'mUh aUtIsMs' as a cop-out for this? That's not how any of this works. At all.

You don't get to use your mental disability as a get out of jail free card.
