I don't usually browse this subreddit, but this shit was the FUNNIEST thing I have read in a while. Holy shit bro..... I laughed so hard.... especially during the karate part and the Bill Burr impression. Your thought process was the funniest thing of all.

To be honest though, don't worry OP. You might be embarrassed, but if I was an interviewer I simply would have laughed and remembered you as a hilarious candidate. What happened wasn't really cringe, just really absurd and funny.

They were evil for saying your logic wasn't funny though. That was uncalled for.

OP, you're so wholesome. Enjoy your Nostalgia and congrats on the PhD program. My eldest child's psychiatrist is 76 years old; he collects, in his office, SpongeBob SquarePants (small toys) of any size. I find it endearing and also disarming to walk into a room full of bright yellow toys during what can be a little intimidating during your first appointment. I live in the USA, but am glad to see McDonalds has vegetarian options for you! I haven't seen them here but also haven't looker either. No fuck up. 💖

Sir, I did not make snapchat, I did not create this function - nor have I used snapchat in well over five years. Moreover, my nudes are free to view on reddit, if you know where to look, if I did use snapchat to send someone an image they screenshotted and posted, it's nothing the world can't already find.

The point you seem to have missed is that there is a big difference between private communication and a public post. If you share private communication publicly without the knowledge or consent of the other party, particularly if it contains sensitive information, you're what's colloquially known as an asshole. (By the way, leaking someone's nudes without consent is considered a sexual offense in many places, and is punishable by law.)

Is that really supposed to stop people from screenshoting. Not to mention you can run a phone OS in a virtual environment and just snip the image. Alternatively the low tech solution would be to just take a picture of a phone screen with another camera.

You should assume everything you do on the internet/in an app/on networked technology will be seen by the whole world.

Also remember when you use a "free" service you are the product.

Stay safe out there, and for your own mental health do not send anything over the internet that you would not want the whole world to see.

Not a smart move on your part, but you figured that out yourself by now. But does not look like much of a problem either since she said its okay (or I missunderstood you. Sry if thats the case).

Edit: I dunno how much dumb sh*t I must have been saying in the last week alone... my wife usually laughes at me or is angry, but when you truely screw up, trust me, she will let you know.

What a wholesome way to accidentally call out someone on their false assumptions. You did the exact opposite of fucking up, you did this woman a favor she will remember the rest of her life, magically sans of any ill feelings. You are doing great. Please keep being you ♡
