Solid show, which isn’t surprising if you were into inside Amy Schumer.

Yep. The last few episodes really start to make the story move. If you think S1 ends strong, S2 should blow you away.

I got up to episode 7 or so. It is starting to get better for sure. Now that Miller and the crew just met up

I understand why you found the first few episodes difficult: I did to. I listened to others and stuck it out and really glad I did. S1 is very important as it pretty much sets the rest of the series. If you like a big scifi series, get past S1 and it really pays off.

Prison Break - went from a well orchestrated, albeit unbelievable escape from prison to these nut jobs working for the government or some shit. Not to mention all the “dead but not dead”.

But isn't the all-those-other-shows-are-in-this-kid's-imagination theory (nothing's to say they couldn't be connected otherwise they just can't be six-degrees-of-St.-Elsewhere-d into being even more fake) disproven by the fact that The X-Files did a crossover with what's ostensibly a reality show, COPS, therefore potentially connecting our universe to that whole Gordian knot but we couldn't watch those shows if we were

Plus, "it was all a dream" endings were kind of the thing around then for some reason. In addition to St.E, you also had the 9th season of Dallas (1985-86), and the series finale of Newhart (1990).

right?? based on what i’d heard about the ending, i thought it was a sci fi show or something, but it’s just a hospital show like greys or er, which is Wild

B, therefore A. QED.
That said, I have heard good things about it but, because of that, fall in that category of 'show that seems good enough to pay attention to, so I can never be bothered to start it as something to just binge-watch on a quiet weekend.'

Wasn't that much of an outcry, it was unusual, but it wasn't a phenomenon. M*A*S*H had sort of set the standard for finales at that time, and not many shows in that era knew ahead of time they would have a final episodes. Many shows didn't know their fates for the following season.

Let’s be real. Schumer gets hate here. OP didn’t flat out say it was misogyny but I think we know.
