that's a valid theory that can't be disproven, but it doesn't explain what's going on with the connection between NK and Bran inside his visions/flashbacks/greensight/time traveling/whatever you wanna call it
and then there's the deal that NK had with Craster implies something more going on than just being thoughtless beasts
I happen to prefer other theories and hope that the books make more of the scene when Bran looked back and saw the creation of the first White Walker

But Sisko's dad also pointed out an obvious workaround, and given the times that the Founders faked blood screenings (Way of the Warrior, for example), it's not like they'd suddenly forget that.

I thought it was pretty clear what he was all about. It runs counter to Martin's discussion about Orcs, but that's not cannon to the show or books. The White Walkers are evil and want to take over westerns because that's what they were created to do. Not much else to say about it.

Idk, this show got absolutely no buzz when it aired. I watched both seasons concurrently and hardly anyone was ever talking about it. It's also not great. It's fine. Funny in places. Hard meh from me personally with the exception of a couple episodes.

i think she was just backup character For Charlie character who they didnt know if they can keep him for guess starring and once they got him they didnt need Agent Jessie to play bigger part.

I think what studios don't appreciate is that good scifi shows are slow to build ratings but, once built, can develop die hard fans willing to spend all kinds of money on it.

Well, I'm only a couple into season two. Maybe it will pick up.
It's annoying that studios don't commit to the shows anymore. They're staring at the ratings in real time and the moment they go under a certain line it's like "cut it". Used to be that smart television people had vision and built a product into what people wanted. They crafted shows like art. Now it's just spam and ratings to see what is making money and what isn't. "Try this, how'd it do? OK, try this now."

Especially with Raffi, who just might be the worst spy in the entire galaxy.
Seriously, though, it really has been a significant improvement on season 1 (and miles better than the total dumpster fire that was season 2, but that's hardly a high bar). There have still been some odd bits (like that whole conflict between Picard and Riker on the bridge of the Titan; Picard's insistence on fighting a more powerful and better-armed opponent instead of escaping, even long before it became clear that escape would be all but impossible, was so weirdly out of character than I genuinely thought he must have been replaced by the Changeling for a while there), but for the most part it's been an interesting and coherent storyline and some good character moments.

Hey, spoiler alert, I'm only 2 shows into the 2nd season! ; ) But yeah, first season did make me laugh a lot more. Now I'm just sad and mildly amused.
I've already noticed that they seem to have kind of run into the same writers block that a lot of shows run into early on. All the elements are there, people being horrible, technology geared toward the ADHD, influencers and personalities being horrible people but I'm just confused as to some of the motivations of some of the characters now.
If you look you can see that the writers, directors and teleplay authors change from episode to episode, which may be what's happening, no long term goals by anyone save maybe Armando. Dunno. I'm going to probably finish the 2nd season. Morbid curiosity and all.

Uhh... We definitely get their stories, both groups of Others. The original scientists and Ben's crew.

Vijay Nadeer in Agents of SHIELD. Seems like a pretty major tease in >!season 3!< and even >!comes back in the framework!< but then nada

Not everyone pirates now and honestly quality never stopped people from pirating.

The Others in Lost. Possibly the show's most compelling mystery that got sidelined and irrelevant in later seasons.

I get your meaning but Arya was around 18 by season 8.

Yet the White Walkers were destroyed by a 12-year old girl in the very first battle.

No.
Disney bought Fox's animated programming block in 2001 and refused to let Fox use some of the characters.
Defledermaus became Bat Manuel.
American Maid became Captain Liberty.
Etc.

> In the early 1990s, Edlund signed a contract with Fox to produce an animated adaptation of the Tick. It ran for 3 seasons. Fox promoted the show with fast food items, t-shirts, toys, a video game, a board game, and other sundries. This was all negotiated in Edlund's contract with Fox. > > In the early 2000s, Edlund signed a contract with Fox to produce a live action adaptation of the Tick. It ran for 10 episodes. Edlund's contact for the animated show prevented him from using several of its most prominent characters so he invented new ones.
so fox blocked fox from airing the old characters?

Think we’re talking about different things. My point was that it’s been canon that they couldn’t do anything more than surface deep, hence why Sisko’s dad made a comment that he’d just suck up someone’s blood if he were a changeling.
