So pretty much just like everything else Prime churns out.

Idk why I always forget fresh prince in best comedy shows. It's up there tho. Definitely was innovative

The good news is The Mayor of Kingstown isn't worth seeing.
The first season was redundant as hell. Everything good it did it did it over and over again and then there was that absurd shootout finale at the prison.
Sheridan has been shit for too long now.

Seinfeld, The Office, Mash and Cheers. It's Always Sunny, Happy Days and The Andy Griffith Show are right there, too. I also have a special place in my heart for Family Ties, The Jeffersons and The Facts of Life. I wish some of these shows had been more diverse.

Watched it all this afternoon. It was ok. But so many holes..inconsistency in the character development. The main 3 all changed so much without much reason.
Plus there was next to no resolution in the end other than the "what he's made of" bit. Also seemed like the consultant had done much worse stuff previously.. and towards the end outside of the what the show presented in general.
I mean its entertaining but some really poor execution in character building and the story itself overall

Yeah it definitely does a lot to stand on its own. I think a lot of us, myself included, wrote it off at first because of the nature of it being a spin-off. But holy cow if we weren’t wrong. The show really went above and beyond. The fact that people debate which is better, BrBa or BCS, and both sides have a very valid argument, is a testament to how great of a spin-off it is. Better Call Saul definitely did things differently than breaking bad and in some cases, did thing BETTER than breaking bad. They are both masterpieces in their own ways 💯

Yea. That was not needed as it really had no meaning. And any other time there was no vibe like that between him and that character. Plus basically no resolution on what the consultant actually is.. to know if he just made them see that or not.

Tons of people love the show :) myself included. The episodes are extremely highly rated and well reviewed online as well. Not sure where you perceive all this hate is coming from, unless you’re just trolling around because you didn’t like the show 😛 and if we used awards shows as our sole barometer for what’s good and what’s not then we’d be very lost because there have been countless movies/shows/albums that have been masterpieces deserving of accolades but never ended up winning any. Shit happens 🤷♂️
If awards are all you care about, it’s been nominated for countless awards. Being nominated alone should be an honor if you truly hold these awards in an esteemed light
Also it performed kinda well at the HCA awards not too long ago
Hopefully this will be the year it finally gets some of the award recognition it deserves, now that the show has concluded. But I certainly won’t hold my breath. Awards shows have never really been my bread and butter
But honestly judging by your posts it’s clear you’re not looking for a legitimate conversation; I suspect you just want an excuse to trash talk the show because you don’t like it and it bothers you that other people do
Edit: for anyone who doesn’t think OP hates the show, scroll down this comment chain. I only left the last part of this comment because OP was trashing the show over in the BCS subreddit saying it’s garbage and nobody likes it and it doesn’t deserve awards

They went on a classic friends to lovers journey. It’s absolutely right to say they were best friends too.

This description fits B99, Community, ParksandRec as well as One Day at a Time, Modern Family and others. I simply don’t find it funny or original, particularly for the use of mockumentary and the jokes, but I understand your point of view.

Binged it. It's not bad, just expect a weird dark comedy. The worst thing about it is that it doesnt explain everything at the end, and there's way too many loose threads. They didn't own up to the mystery that was set up at the beginning, and that brings it down a major amount for me to the point that I wouldn't recommend it.

Hate? lol
It's one of the most beloved shows amongst fans. If “awards” are the merit to judge the show's greatness, or it's loved/hate, then I don't agree with you.

And it continued to be crap in the following seasons.
The writers strike maybe made the downfall quicker but it was inevitable. It's clear that season 1 was the only one they really had figured out a story to tell. After that it was just milking it and making shit up as it went along.

In my opinion, cartoon shows don’t adapt themselves to older audiences: adults are supposed to grow out of kids content.
