The season 6 finale can serve as a soft series finale (and has some pretty cool stuff). But yeah if you're already checking out then no reason to watch seasons 7 or 8

Watch it till the end. Just keep going, there's still lots of good stuff to go, they just do enough stupid things to get you mad.

There's so many seasons of Agents of Shield... I try to get the gist of various seasons and pick a stopping point during a binge. I might return a few years later from that point

Maybe, but we need to normalize proofreading before sending.

Probably, after season 4 the show only got worse and worse. I might suggest reading the books if you have any interest in that though

Hollywood has always taken a stab at trying to revive Westerns however what stood out to me is the massive popularity of these three.

I love this show. I have it on my internal media center (And actually have the physical DVDs so I can "prove" that I own it and I watch it every few years. It is great. I watch the series SWAT because a character in The Shield is in it.
There are a couple of other shows that I watch every couple of years. Some are corney and I watch them kind of out of tradition, and others are just really good and stand the test of time

He really does. Every episode he goes from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows in about 30 seconds flat and he always sells it so well.

I was curious how they were gonna make the revival work, and made note of the many times they mentioned "ten years ago" being when the original show took place (considering it was 15 years ago now). Then they hit us with Ron's "this is gonna be the best year of my life" and then the mention of COVID... damn, what a great setup.
Can't wait to see where the next five episodes go!

The initial assumption is off imo. Whether a character is a good person or likeable is so secondary to whether or not character is good it's unreasonable to assume that's what they're saying.

sounds like you should give GoT a try
losing interesting somewhere during S5/6 would let you walk away wit the perfect experience. It'd be your favorite show.

Western =/= "cowboys."

No, all it means is there was a long lull with no western stories and a bunch of screenwriters thought, "Maybe I can make something cool with those tropes from that show I liked when I was a kid." Hollywood has been like this for literal decades, in many genres and sub-genres. This is, by my count, the 3rd or 4th time there's been increased interest in westerns just since the 80s.

Idk but if it gets a name, we should just call it a Homelander.
Homelander is the worst person and the most entertaining character.

I mean, "I like this character" still works, not sure why you're making that initial assumption. But if you prefer you could always go with "I find the character compelling" or something.

That is one of the cuts I can live with. The question is: Where is the character going? We don't know since we don't have the ending for her.

did you start the show recently? do you know all the plot points of the show? if you started it knowing the later seasons declined in quality then it's kind of like.. why are you surprised?
i'd say finish it. you're 1.5 season away at this point and then you can know you didn't miss any of the good parts of the rest of the show. it had moments.
