House of the Dragon. His Dark Materials. Winning Time: The Rise of the L.A. Lakers. Perry Mason. Westworld. The Undoing. Lovecraft Country.

And that's just HBO. Want to look at other Warner-related Blu-rays that aren't HBO? Peacemaker. Doom Patrol. Titans. Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal. Superman & Lois. The Flash. Naomi. Legends of Tomorrow. Batwoman. Supernatural. Doctor Who. Coming out this coming Tuesday: Filmation's 1968 The Adventures of Batman. Coming out a month after that: the complete series of Duck Dodgers. All on Blu-ray Disc.

u/el_filipo (OP) - Since S1 came out on both DVD and Blu-ray, but S2 and S3 of Succession only came out on DVD, it's quite possible that an MOD (Manufacture On Demand) release of Succession S2 and also S3 will happen eventually. It was just announced that S4 will be the final season, right? So maybe to tie in with that? We'll see.

IMO if you feel bored and empty then maybe you really don't like the show all that much.

Or you enjoyed the earlier seasons, but they got into a rut where they do the same things over and over. Or the show quality/writing has just deteriorated. Or maybe early seasons were a breath of fresh air, but it's just not new and exciting anymore. IMO it's hard to keep things interesting year after year after year.

I'd step away for a while, watch other stuff, then maybe come back and see how you like it. Stepping away doesn't have to be forever, unless you really don't like it anymore.

I've given up on a lot of shows after a few seasons. Some I came back to and finish, others I have no plan to do so. I'm under no obligation to finish, but that doesn't mean I didn't like the early seasons.

If I had to guess what Stoneheart's "ultimate" purpose is (since it seems like audiences everywhere are just obsessed with that stuff)...

Remember that story Catelyn told about how she hated Jon Snow and desperately wanted him dead?

Jon Snow would've likely reunited with Stoneheart at some point, and we'd seen a conclusion their specific dynamic. Either Jon would have to end Stoneheart's revenge spree out of pity, or Stoneheart would remember her promise to the gods, and finally put aside her hatred of Jon Snow and let him live, against all odds.

But I don't know, I'm not payed millions by HBO to deliver a fucking story rather than cut it to shreds.

I agree that Arya becoming a superhuman, and her "growth" as a character in general, were awful.

That said, all of the issues you brought up could have been fixed with better writing of her character.

Adding Stoneheart in in place of Arya just for your reasons would have been a complete waste of time. You're clearly very attached to the books so you should obviously be aware that as of this point, Stoneheart has had literally no effect on anything of importance in the story. I'll be generous and say she's in or referenced in maybe...15 pages of the books at this point? For all we know Brienne will get out of her noose and chop off Stoneheart's head right there. We have - and probably will continue to have - no idea.

I like it except for the language. Every single person in it is unnecessarily foul mouthed, including the kid. It feels contextually ok inTed Lasso because it's a sports team but feels really out if place for a bunch of counselors to be talking like that all the time. Especially to patients.

Agreed. As much as I’m enjoying the show in general, the takeaway I’ve been telling people about the show is that I’m upset I haven’t been watching Harrison Ford in more comedy over the last forty years. Granted it’s also this comedic skill that has made his action characters so likeable.

Seeing people unfamiliar with Korea reality shows tlaking about the slow pacing is so interesting to me. This is by far one of the fastest paced reality shows I've ever seen come from Korea. And Squid Games was the fastest drama/episodic show I'd ever seen with such fast pacing. They've definitely been catering towards Western and younger audiences. Growing up, a drama would take 3 hours for them to a single love confession

S4 is hands down my favorite season and one of the best seasons of television ever made. The watchers on the wall puts most movie battles to shame. So many quotables, so many awesome moments, I dare you to not get pumped when the giant is charging the inner gate.

Then there's Oberyn, there's the purple wedding, the Mountain vs the Viper(for better or worse), Sansa finally playing the game(short-lived as that was), Tyrions trial, Brianne vs the Hound... I could go on.

Such a shame it was all downhill from there.
