? Are you actually serious?

Yeah i was totally gonna not watch the last season of a show i've been watching/following/reading books about for years... ?

I have no idea if you're actually serious or just a troll, genuinely no idea.

Season 7 was bad and riddled with mistakes, ofcourse everyone also watched season 8 just to watch the train derail and burn completely.

Bro what are your comments genuinely?

this is exactly what i'm talking about, this is a completely ridiculous opinion.

you still watched every episode. you were so engaged that you cant let it go until today, years after it's over. thats a fucking 2 out of 10? lmao. what rating is the other 95% of garbage pumped out by every studio constantly?

it was entertaining to you as well, you just cant admit it because of the narrative that arose.

if it wasnt, you would have stopped watching it.

I got my first Job out of college thanks to my roomates Dad. He worked for the company in another department. He headed the hardware side of IT. They lost a software engineer and I had just graduated with my degree in software engineering. He told me to apply and I did.

I still needed to get thourgh the interview process, but his recommendation helped me as a fresh college grad with no industry experience. It's turned out great. I got a job my direct supervisors very happy with my preformance, and I got promoted recently, but without that connection there is no garuntee I would have got my foot in the door.

Connections are important they can open doors and give you opportunities. As long as you got the talent and skill to capitalize on those opportunities it's fine imo.

This. There's basically Netflix which is consistently profitable and everything else is either in the red or might have a year where they barely are profitable before going back under. It's a total money suck because most of these came late to the party and have to compete with all the other people entering an over saturated market.

Right now I think the big ones are just waiting for the rest to give up and die off.

Literally no one said this mate

Dude, now you're just making me laugh. If that was entertaining to you then holy shit lol. GoT went from a 9-10/10 rated show to 2-3/10 at best.

GoT was a global and cultural phenomenom in it's prime, and you're surprised people are still sad it got butchered towards the end? Man please, complete nonsense of a comment

The strike team deal with a lot of episodic storylines as well in the first couple of seasons and there are instances where Vic's storyline overlaps with Dutch/Claudette and others at the station.

The show is constantly building on itself, it's definitely not a procedural that resets to a baseline at the end of every episode but yeah it's also not accurate to say it's fully serialised.

I think it's a good balance for long form storytelling, it gives the characters time to breathe, the world feels more realised when it's not constantly about the high stakes main plotline.
