That song completely turned me around on the Spike/Buffy relationship. All of a sudden he was undead Billy Idol and I got it.

That one is a legitimate banger. Could have been a Cole Porter song.

I don't know that anything significant is happening with neowesterns at the moment. They've been present but not overly popular for awhile now.

I do not.
Breaking Bad has some very consistent writing with their characters and storylines where as Power does not. There needs to be a suspension of belief when watching Power as some of their characters and their motives can be a little unbelievably at times.

There's a old movie starring him that you'd love... The Frisco Kid. A western buddy comedy with Gene Wilder (playing a Polish rabbi trying to cross america alive with the help of Ford's character - a bank robbery).

The first season or two are much much more episodic. By the end, they are very much focused on season plots instead. It's still episodic in the way that shows like Breaking Bad will be very connected but each episode still has a focus and contained story.
Very similar to Justified in this respect imo
I'd highly recommend sticking with it. The first season is ok but can be silly sometimes (a lot of the Dutch plot lines can get that way) and it grows a lot after it.

I really like Hollywood Homicide for this reason. It’s arguably a stupid movie but seeing him being silly is just kind of great.

I think that's why I'm a bit frustrated. It had some really good elements but some goofy things that just didn't make any sense as well. Curse my flippant positioning.

The show did Kelli soooooo fucking dirty. They were gonna unceremoniously kill her off but Mariska kiboshed the idea and at least gave her a proper send off.

Yes those rom coms. They have a totally different vibe. No room for dry one line zingers or Ford just being grumpy and direct.
