Vampire Erik now has a familiar who is a strange, effeminate redneck buffoon, so that Alexander Skarsgard’s best friend Jack McBrayer can join in the fun.

There’s an obscure musical called “Clowns” and to call it bad would be heaping praise on it. A direct quote from an actor I’ve known: “I’ve had cancer, and I’ve done Clowns. Clowns was worse, because they have drugs that help with the cancer but nothing could make Clowns bearable.”

I think AEW is safe, they just announced a new behind the scenes show, which shows confidence in the brand.

Reply to Thoughts on the new series Animal Control? Sounds like half of us are really enjoying it and the other half of viewers are not. Can’t think of any recent shows with this polarizing of opinions of it by ChessQueenCity
Animal Control is so bad it feels like it should be a weird B-plot background show in a much better quality show. The characters all fell like they came straight from a book on writing comedy. The dialogue feels like it's filmed one line at a time instead of characters actually talking to each other. The entire premise is the same as every other quick to fail comedy.

Spent his last night on earth down the pub with friends watching football before dying in his sleep that night. He went too young at only 77 but that's almost the ideal way.

That was a little different, it was an anthology show set in the universe and seemed to be a bit of a reimagining of certain stories.

Also I think it's $5 for 3 months currently. Not bad at all.

I know people are wary of this kind of thing but they pulled it off so perfectly and it really sets a great tone for the rest of the season.

There are some episodes of TV that really transcend the show they’re on and that was definitely one of them.
Not to saw scrubs wasn’t a great show, it was, but that episode stood out on another level

Arguably, the Hollywood difference is that it's an industry with relatively limited spots for who gets to star in a (non-independent) movie or TV show, and all of them are built on so many levels of gatekeeping.
There's thousands and thousands of hospitals and blue collar warehouses and McDonald's locations. Each movie studio only makes a dozen-ish movies a year. Each network only makes so many scripted series a year.
