Echoing what others have already said, an excellent episode and truly gut-wrenching.

It was nice to see this different side to both Cox and Kelso and totally believable in their acting that they could soften and show their more vulnerable side.

Kelso telling Carla about his longtime wife Enid and how what he previously viewed as a flaw of hers reminded him how much he truly cared for her was a nice transition to the funeral when we finally get the reveal.

Disney owns the show now, so good luck.

It was part of the MTM library, which was badly mistreated before Fox bought it. First it was purchased by a British company, then religious huckster Pat Robertson. The original elements were not treated kindly before Fox bought MTM in the late 90s.

When Shout Factory released the series on DVD, they had to use ancient videotape masters, and even resort to pulling YouTube quality clips to reinsert into some episodes to make them as complete as they could get them.

So, Newhart would have to get the TNG/Cheers/Frasier remaster and reassembly treatment to look as good as it could again, and Disney... well, they're not known for that sort of thing the way Paramount is. And that's assuming the original film still exists and is accessible after all the hands it passed through over the years.

Shortening attention spans. I can’t believe how fast the internet wants to make snap judgements. The Last of Us is a great example, the amount of people online saying it’s one of the greatest shows of all time after a few episodes was nuts. Conversely then there’s a polarized backlash of sorts with people saying it’s terrible. Jesus, give it a full season at least before judgement. So many great shows were slow burns with just good first seasons. I did not like Game of Thrones on first watch, the beginning of S2 I found to be a bit slow and gave up. Came back years later after more of the show had come out, stuck it though, and it turned out to be one of my favorite entertainment experiences ever.

I really enjoyed Castlevania and the third season, especially, was fairly unique for TV and especially animation. Not perfectly executed but interesting. Great to see since adult drama animation is still rare in the west.

Arcane didn't do much for me, but I really don't enjoy long prologues. I think if it had started at episode 5, i would have liked it a lot more. Theres enough context clues about character relationships and word building that the prologue episodes feel unnecessary.
