Now watch it again and you can catch the twist when it happens early in the episode.

Clicked on this thread to say The X-Files and Seinfeld. You beat me to it, lol.
Star Trek has enough of a built in audience that (especially on a streaming service), I think it may have had a chance to succeed though. Look at Discovery. It’s absolute shit and on Season 4.

Ah i envy you!! One of the best episodes of television ever created. Watched it as kid and it hit me hard and streamed it just last month and tbh it hit me even harder. Just so so damn good.
Hands down one of my top 5 favorite shows. Enjoy! :)

I love "She's not even half the girl she...ow"
Have you listened to the podcast Buffering the Vampire Slayer? It's from musician Jenny Owen Youngs and her ex-wife, Kristin Russo. She wrote a song for every single episode of Buffy.

Is it worth trying/watching if I was a fan of Steve Martin and Martin Short when I was a kid but lately have found material like their two-man shows more tedious than funny?

Warners was particularly bad under AT&T since DirectTV was also bleeding money.
You're right though they're not unique in that regard, they're just a few years further down the slope then everyone else most likely

Obviously that would happen a with every new sale/merger, the new owner usually try to cut costs and do "synergy cuts".
But if the new owner didn't had enough money in cash to buy the company, obviously the problem with debt get's bigger, as now you need to make the new company profitable to pay it's own debts, and to pay the debts that it made to buy it.

You're not crazy.
The villain is indeed her, Nolte plays a mix of Phil Tippett and David Allen.
