Assuming Pennywise is a primary form throughout the show then it will definitely be him. However I can see Pennywise being used heavily in the early episodes before later ones move on to other forms and personas

castle rock wasnt popular enough - it is the highest grossing horror film not adjusted for inflation so is likely to be far more popular.
true blood - has not been off air long enough to justify a reboot

why are we acting like this is a problem unique to warner - literally every single streamer is going through the smae issue because their not making as much money under streaming - this is why amc is cutting, paramount is cutting, starz is cutting, showtime is cutting, disney is cutting - the only ones not usting are amazon and apple where thier streaming network is more like advertising for the brand rather than profit.

wall street no longer cares about subscriber numbers - they care about profitability now - which warner is in the process of doing by repaying their debt and smarter spending.

If anything this'll push then further in that direction
They were cutting and burying things to stop the bleeding they inherited from AT&Ts poor financial management of the brand
Question is how much more the creative side will have to suffer to fix a problem that's been unaddressed for over a decade at Warner

I was so confused when they decided to make a show about Castle Rock. Of the imaginary Stephen King cities there’s clearly one that we wanna see more of, and it’s the one where an interdimensional mind spider lived (lives?) and made the whole place just extra haunted and full of excessively shitty inhabitants.

no - its harder to sell ads when cable tv is dying - literally every single tv company is facing the same problem

Ok I loved the killing. Season one was amazing. Then it kinda fell off a bit.
But then Netflix bought it and they had that plot about the boys school kid getting bullied into a group jerk off frenzy that culminated with him killing his mother….and yea…sounds ridiculous to even say. Was not good.

Agree. The way the valet's face and the carpet shifted in this scene are incredibly realistic.

The fifth season of The Wire wasn’t that bad, just in comparison to the brilliance of the earlier seasons.
FNL is so underrated too.
I’d argue Breaking Bad has no bad seasons and only improves with each new season. Maybe you could argue Season 4 was the peak but they stuck the landing so hard in season 5 I dunno.

They will come to Q1 2023 very pressured. The Last of Us has good ratings, but what will that mean in subscriber earnings for HBO/HBOMax? If they continue with these successive minimum increases, they will have serious problems in maintaining a minimum of investor confidence. Even more so now that Wall Street seems to have had enough of believing in streaming.

I’d argue the McNulty fake serial killer plot line was pretty mid. But it did give us that scene when they are profiling the killer and perfectly describe McNulty 😂
Generally small gripe for the GOAT show though. And I have grown to really like season 2.

Paul T Goldman is fantastic and Leopard Skin is just bonkers. Those are my favorite peacock shows besides poker face.

Well they just have to pray and hope they do better. Zaslav did say today he wants to go back to Warners early 2000s glory days with dark knight triology, lord of the rings, and Harry Potter franchise. Gunn hopefully reboots the DC ip. Maybe get better writers for Harry Potter franchise. They announced today they have film right back for lord of the rings. HBO max shows are still their top products tho

There was also a sort of malaise (probably the wrong word) in Derry, because of It. Any small issue affecting the negative behavior increased. I theorize low impulse-control, for one thing.

Exactly. That's why I said negative EPS almost 5 times worse than predicted was the worst case scenario. Investors expected to lose x and lost 5x.
