This a sad day for canada and, therefore, the world

It wasn't her fault tho; the show was simply boring. I think the concept is cool, but the storytelling is so uninteresting

This is interesting. Is there a take on a trip that hasn’t been done that might reflect the personal experience better?

I've been streaming this on PlutoTV for months now (with commercials). It's a great show!

Hard to really represent psychedelics in a movie. While there are visuals to some degree in almost every trip, the majority of the effects are mental even when the world around you is melting together into a squirming mess of light and color.

I'm really really really hoping they don't stretch out that last scene and what he shouted to be everyone thinking he was talking about the baby, before the story gets around to what he was really talking about.
I have a feeling they might do that. The confusion could serve as a convenient plot device. And while I really enjoyed it, it had a slow start through the first couple of episodes so, to me at least. So capitalizing on the confusion for an episode or 2 seems like it's right up their alley.

FIFA was also my introduction to Motty as a kid. His passionate commentary made the low-resolution pixellated players chasing the ball on the screen (PS1 generation FIFA) look real to 12-year-old me.

The movies were okay but overall rushed tot he point of feeling incomplete. not surprising given the source material being over 1000 pages but i think another miniseries would have been better. some of the creative choices regarding the characters were interesting though

love arcane but the weird side plot with jace and a lot of the pseudoscientific dialogue made me cringe out of my seat

castlevania is one of the most overrated animated shows of all time, propped up by people who were desperate for any decent video game adaptations. putting it in the same league as arcane and TLOU is insane

Mad Men's portrayal of Roger taking LSD was very well done (and funny).

Reply to Why do we always blame streaming services for cancelling shows but never the showrunner/writers for writing cliffhangers? by [deleted]
Farscape ended on a cliffhanger because the writers were told they were getting another season, only for the sci-fi channel to cancel them at the last minute.

Ultimately we don't know if it's the writer's or the Service's call to put in those cliffhangers, but one thing you can always bet on is that people will blame everything on the "suits' and treat the "creatives" like angels. It's just an easy narrative to circlejerk.

sometimes the creators are told they will not be cancelled and leave a cliff hanger to keep viewers intrigued only to be lied to, see my name is earl.

So happy for Alison! Also because her favourite movie of all time is The American President that stars Annette Bening and now she gets to act with her!

Right I’m aware - that’s what I mentioned in my comment. I just don’t see much of a story there. The main story we hear of his past was the visit Mike’s grandad(?) witnessed. But in general, what we know about them all is that everyone died.

One of the best shows on television right now in my opinion. Has a travelling Columbo vibe to it.
