If you haven't watched it totally holds up. I bought the series on DVD about a year ago and its truly a great sitcom that I'd put on par with a show like Cheers. Christopher Lloyd's Jim Ignatowski is one of my all-time favorite sitcom characters.

Just adding: for anyone who doesn't know the Taxi story related to Andy Kaufman/Tony Clifton, it really is worth a listen. Half a dozen people connected to the show are in interviews about it on youtube.

Plus he's so wholesome. Especially when Matilda was being filmed and Mara Wilson's mother was dying. It was great to see him on the Always Sunny podcast and you could tell how much the gang loves him. Crazy how close that show came to cancellation, but thank his kids for being fans.

No, not at all. I was just stating that I only know of Eve from her on that show with Ewan and Charley. Whereas many celebrities today, you know basically their whole life and families from social media. So to know whether she is annoying, overbearing, etc, I don't know. I only know of her from those few episodes she appeared in on the show and we saw her as a bit annoying by inviting herself along.

Danny DeVito is a genius. Between Taxi, It's Always Sunny and the movies he's directed I think he's hugely underrated. Maybe because he plays scuzzy assholes so well. I love that dude.
