I think it’s financially infeasible but it would be awesome. Very cool idea and I wish it were real.

Might have been interesting 20 or 30 years ago

Will the TV industry still exists in 20 years? Looks like an inevitability that more people will be pirating, to the point it becomes unsustainable to produce new shows anymore. This is depressing.

1 of 10 admits, 3 of 10 did it, and 7 of 10 asked their kid/cousin/sibling to do it for them because they don't know how.

Fwiw, and I forget the source, but I've heard stunt people take pride in the pain shots. I'd imagine it's a "if I'm gonna fuckin break an arm for you you better use it" mentality

There is no objective way to judge a show, so feel free to refer to a show however you like

It depends on who says it’s the best show ever.
I would never consider TWD one of the best shows ever and GOT woikd be.
While the seasons got worse (7 is worse than 8 imo)I never thought any of them were awful and I was fully invested in the show until the end.

Everyone I knew at one point pirated music, everyone. Even my dad. Then Spotify came out and now everyone has access to basically any song ever for a decent fee.
The visual media side is the exact opposite of this. They want to pick and choose what you can see, charge more for it, then complain when they find out someone wants to watch a random show from the 90's that they have refused to out out on physical or digital and they removed from their streaming platform after a few weeks. And then they raise the rates again. My Directv Stream account alone has nearly TRIPLED in price since I first signed up.

I feel like Nickelodeon came up with the tween concept with SNICK. Clarissa Explains It All, Alex Mack, etc.
In the 90's, for the most part, Disney Channel was mostly cartoons and black and white movies (Elvis).

I wouldn't personally. I think the show would have to keep me engaged all the way through for me to consider it one of the best. I do think GOT is one of the best ever though. I wouldn't describe any season as awful. The last season was disappointing sure, but I still enjoyed it.

Seriously. I thought the revival was only happening in the first place because of how many people watched it when it was on Netflix.

Anyone can call any show the best show ever. Doesn't mean you have to agree with them. Anyone who thinks TWD is the best show ever has terrible tastes.
With that said, it is very rare to find a show that does not have a bad season. The Wire is in my top five best shows ever and the fifth season was such a dud, same with Friday Night Lights.

TWD is a very popular show but I haven't really seen it in the conversation of Best show ever™ even during it's heyday.
GOT lost all claim to the title though a few of the seasons run for Best season ever™.
I can take a mid season if the rest is amazing and argue in favor of it (The Wire), but not two bad seasons, specially near the end when its Quality is even more important than at the start.

I think so. I think The Killing was an amazing show for its first season, and everything after that was terrible. Like you could see how the constant string of being cancelled and revived really hurt that show.

Excellent book. Glad they are making it a series and not a film. Shantaram and The Goldfinch should have been series also. Too much story to fit into a film.

Already backed up 30 Rock and IASIP right after some episodes got needlessly yanked while the seeds were still fresh. There's an early American Dad episode where the family accidentally shows up to a party in blackface that's still on hulu to this veryest of the days, so that'll be a "gone bye-bye" here real pretty soon. It's not fucking enough that the people directly responsible for Floyd's death has been charged and punished, but WE have to pay the price, too? Nuh-uh, fuck that all the way off. So just in case we all need to get punished again for daring to let a guy try to buy cigarettes with counterfeit money, I'm gonna have to buy some more storage devices to back up American Dad and Family Guy, too.
Surprised that Tyre Nichols's death didn't result in more even shows similarly taken off the air that could have possibly tertiarily contributed to it in even the slightest way. My guesses would have been: Snowfall, Oz, and The Wire. What's everyone else's guesses?
