I don't think weight classes should be a thing in this show. It's the top 100 physiques going at it, if you're not well rounded and at least formidable in each category then you shouldn't win. Strength is one of them. Just like the strongmen might suck in agility-based games

This is the answer. It's not like there's some conspiracy to stop production on kids show, it's just that they weren't a viable option.

As a kid in the 90s, there used to be tons of programing blocks for kids on every channel but over time, people just stopped watching. CBS kids used to have some classics but then Fox News, Kids WB, and ABC's One Sautrday Morning got all the quality shows and no one cared about Muppet Babies. Same thing with after school blocks; Disney Afternoon was huge but then Kids WB and Fox Kids got Animanics, Batman, X-Men and whatnots and no one cared about Bonkers or Snoochums and Meat.

My niece is 14 so I've gotten to see the current generation's connection with cartoons and they don't need a 6:30am airing of Beast Wars or a 4pm airing of Mucha Lucha when they watch something on Netflix, YouTube, or OnDemand. They don't need saturday morning blocks because they have their favorite episodes of the Loud House or Steven Universe available instantly.

Let's be real, if we had HBO Max with every episode of Adventure Time, we wouldn't still choose to watch it on broadcast tv and sit through commercials. Cartoon Network and other kid-focused channels are struggling because kids just aren't watching broadcast tv so if they aren't watching, why would other channels like ABC, Fox, etc continue to waste money?

I agree. Only one instance of a woman challenging a man has been presented (Park Min-ji, the wrestler taking on Jang Seong-min, the rugby player) unless more examples are brought forward then this claim that “some of the women are so overconfident” is a deceptive exaggeration. This may not have been intentional but I still find it sad as like you said there are more examples of grace and sportsmanship from the women contestants.

Specific examples being: >!Jang Eun-sil being very humble and surprised about being chosen as team leader instead of a man but still being determined to lead her team to victory. Kim Da Young getting her foot squashed between two large logs during the ship moving quest but insisting they quickly carry on with the task. As I’ve already mentioned in another comment Bo-mi-rae made a strategic sacrifice for her team during the Ancient Greek themed quest meanwhile on another team Song A-reum was realistic about her abilities so was happy letting the men take the lead in choosing who would compete in what rather than being “overconfident”.!<

To come back to Park Min-ji challenging Jang Seong-min and that making her an “idiot”, I think in that case we should also mention >!BBULK who in the same selection process made a show of taunting all the contestants instead of choosing strategically despite being one of the smaller men on the show. Ultimately Kim Sang-wook, a bigger stronger man and MMA fighter took him on and obviously won. Comparably I think it’s fair to say that BBULK displayed a far more overt overconfidence yet he does not get mentioned while Park Min-ji gets called an idiot. I’m almost certain if Park Min-ji had behaved the same way as BBULK had she would be getting an incredible amount of hate and ridicule.!<

I actually don’t think either of them are idiots though. While it’s speculative, to me this seems like both cases are producer influenced. They needed a cocky antagonist and at least one instance of a woman choosing a man just to spice things up a bit so BBULKUP and Park Min-ji filled those roles for screen time and to make the show more interesting which is strategic for a different purpose.

Ultimately both the women and men contestants are capable of incredible feats in athleticism as well as being incredible team players and I think that deserves respect.

No it means that TV´s today, due to their size physically can't handle good audio production like they could in the old days where you could fit large speakers on each side of a CRT TV. Hence the existence of Soundbars and 3.1 & 5.1 systems.

Just like when you buy a Smart phone you also buy some accessories like EarPods or cases etc, now when you buy a TV you will need to buy a audio accessory if you want to experience decent sound. That's just reality.

For me it's MASH.

The biggest reason for me is how thoroughly and brilliantly they explored its setting and what a TV dramedy could be. Smartly written comedic episodes, very poignant dramatic ones, a bunch of episodes that blurred that line, and quite a few experimental episodes that pushed the format of the series in very creative ways.

And for me, it has my favorite cast on a TV series. Through the emotional highs and lows, you get to know these characters so thoroughly that even some of the bigger caricatures have their moments of humanity (even if it's more hidden in someone like Frank). And while some actors are stronger than others, I thought they were all very good in their respective roles, and did a very admirable job playing the various emotional beats they had to throughout the seasons and bring their characters to life as well as they did.

Edit: I will say that Lost used to be mine as well, and while that's no longer the case, it's still pretty high on my list.
